The Twice & Thrice Challenge!

Confession time. As many of you have noted, someone (that would be me!) forgot to post last week’s recipe challenge on the website. Meanwhile, back at the Colony’s kitchen, Lori and Sue were posting pic after mouth watering pic of apple fritters .... crispy beer battered, deep fried apple chunks finished with a dusting of oh so sweet sugar. WTF? Was this some kind of 17th century torture for foodies? 

So, in an attempt to make amends, we’re combining weeks 5 and 6 of the Cook Off to create the Twice and Thrice Challenge ... twice as many recipes and three times the prizes. Got your attention? Great! Here’s how it works. Cook either of this week’s recipes and post a photo of your creation on the Colony’s Facebook page and you’ll be automatically entered to win the corresponding prize (see details below). Cook BOTH of this week’s recipes and post your pics and you’ll be eligible to win both of the recipe challenge prizes, PLUS the bonus prize. Here’s what’s up for grabs:
